Support for Families at Summer Institute

There are many resources available in the Cambridge area for on- or off-site child care during the Summer Institute. Summer Institute participants who choose to utilize these services are responsible for the costs of these services and for making arrangements with appropriate providers. Please use due diligence in identifying child care options, and be mindful of whether a service is accredited, appropriately insured, and whether the caregivers are subject to background checks. Neither the NBER nor the Royal Sonesta Hotel can recommend or endorse particular providers. Lactation Room

At the Royal Sonesta Hotel, Room 306 has been designated a lactation room for the duration of the Summer Institute. The key to this room is available at the Summer Institute registration desk on the ground floor of the hotel during regular business hours and at the hotel's front desk at other times. This room is equipped with a small refrigerator.
